Wendy Hughes (born 29 July 1952; age 71) is an Australian actress who played Lieutenant Commander Nella Daren in the sixth season episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation entitled "Lessons" in 1993.

She had a recurring role as Dr. Carol Blythe throughout the first season of Homicide: Life on the Street (1993) and co-starred with Stephen Collins, Bob Gunton, Mark Metcalf, and Tim Ransom in the 1991 mini-series A Woman Named Jackie, detailing the life of John F. Kennedy, played by Stephen Collins. She also appeared in the 1989 television movie The Heist, with Noble Willingham, and the 1990 television movie Donor, with Marc Lawrence and Larry Cedar.

Her film credits include Newsfront (1978), My Brilliant Career (1979), Lonely Hearts (1982), Partners (1982, with Jay Robinson, Seamon Glass and Ed McCready), Careful, He Might Hear You (1983), Wild Orchid II: Two Shades of Blue (1992, with Christopher McDonald), Princess Caraboo (1994), Paradise Road (1997), and The Man Who Sued God (2001).
