A legible version of the okudagram first appeared in the reference book, Star Trek: The Next Generation - The Continuing Mission. The list became legible to viewers with the remastered episode.
There was, in addition, the comedian Wendy Neuss and the Lieutenant Commander Wendy Neuss, who served aboard the Enterprise-D in 2369.
Neuss was named for the Star Trek: The Next Generation producer of the same name.
