Template:Realworld West End Games (aka WEG) was a company founded in 1974 that made various games. Products included role-playing games based on Star Wars, Ghostbusters, and DC Heroes. Their most recent product line focused mainly on the D6 System of RPGs (a game engine focusing on the use of standard six-sided dice, or d6s), which had been licensed by Amarillo Design Bureau for anow out-of-print version of their Prime Directive RPG.

In 1985, WEG produced three boxed games based on Star Trek:

The company was merged into Humanoids Inc. in 1999, a year after declaring bankruptcy. Its' name changed to D6 Legends, then to Purgatory Publishing in 2003.
