William Wellman, Jr. (born 20 January 1937; age 87) is an actor who played a Bajoran security deputy in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode "Favor the Bold".

Wellman, Jr. was born in Los Angeles, California. His father, director William A. Wellman, directed the first movie he starred in; he later starred in three more of his father's movies.

In 1958 he appeared alongside Biff Elliot, Barry Atwater, Ken Lynch, Paul Comi, Bert Remsen and Clarence Williams III in Pork Chop Hill, which featured music by Leonard Rosenman. In 1963 he acted with Teri Garr in A Swingin' Affair. Also in 1963 he starred with Star Trek actor DeForest Kelley in Gunfight at Comanche Creek. In 1970 he performed with George Takei in Which Way to the Front. Four years later, in 1974, he acted in the horror flick It's Alive with Michael Ansara. In 1977 he acted in The Private Files of J. Edger Hoover with George D. Wallace. A year later, in 1978, he starred with Jane Wyatt in A Love Affair: The Eleanor and Lou Gehrig Story. In 1994 he starred with Andrew Robinson in The Puppet Masters.

Wellman portrayed an older, embittered Charles Evans in the fan film Star Trek: Of Gods and Men, directed by Tim Russ and co-starring Russ, Walter Koenig, Nichelle Nichols, Alan Ruck, Garrett Wang, J.G. Hertzler, Chase Masterson, Gary Graham, and many other Star Trek veterans.
