Lieutenant Wright was Starfleet officer serving aboard the USS Enterprise-D under the command of Captain Jean-Luc Picard.

In 2366, she attended an art class aboard the Enterprise-D, along with Captain Picard and Ensign Williams. Lieutenant Commander Data praised Wright's work, stating the lieutenant had "effectively fused the incongruities of the surrealists with the irrationality of Dadaism."
