The Wyngari were a species native to the Delta Quadrant.
The USS Voyager passed through their region of space, several months prior to stardate 54704.5, where it was noted that they were at peace with their neighbors, the Vojeans, but were suffering from a food shortage on their homeworld.
During Q, Junior's visit aboard Voyager in late 2377, he watched a space battle he had precipitated, in astrometrics, between the two races. (VOY: "Q2")
