The Xindi-Insectoid patrol ship was a small warp-capable starship utilized by the Xindi-Insectoids during the mid-22nd century. They were armed with at least one forward and one underbelly directed energy weapon emitters.

The crew of Enterprise incorporated three Xindi-Insectoid patrol ships into the simulation they created on the behalf of acquiring the location of Azati Prime from Degra. In the simulation, Archer and Degra were pursued by three Xindi-Insectoid patrol ships as they attempted to escape an Xindi-Insectoid prison colony aboard a Malosian cargo shuttle. They were ultimately able to escape after disabling the ships by venting five hundred liters of warp plasma from their ship. The warp plasma, in turn, got into the patrol ship's intake manifolds, causing their engines to overheat. (ENT: "Stratagem")

Upon Enterprise's arrival at Azati Prime, Trip Tucker and Travis Mayweather were hailed by a Xindi-Insectoid patrol ship, as they attempted to infiltrate the system aboard a Xindi-Insectoid shuttlecraft. The commander of the patrol ship informed Tucker and Mayweather that they were not authorized within the detection grid and were ordered to withdraw and return to their carrier ship.

Archer was later pursued and captured by three patrol ships as he attempted to infiltrate the Xindi superweapon. (ENT: "Azati Prime")

The Insectoid patrol ships were a reuse of the Nausicaan raiders that first appeared in ENT Season 1.
