Zefram Cochrane (mirror)

Zefram Cochrane (mirror)

In the mirror universe, Zefram Cochrane was the first Terran to make first contact with members of an alien species. On April 5, 2063, a Vulcan ship landed on Earth in Bozeman, Montana. When a member of the Vulcan crew exited the vessel, Cochrane took out his shotgun and killed the alien, allowing his fellow comrades to board the Vulcan ship and steal Vulcan technology. His actions would result in the early expansion of the Terran Empire.

In 2155, Commander Jonathan Archer expressed his admiration for Cochrane's actions and was even in possession of the gun that Cochrane had used to shoot the Vulcan. (ENT: "In a Mirror, Darkly")

Zefram Cochrane was likely the first human to achieve warp flight, much like his counterpart in a parallel universe.
Cochrane, like his counterpart, was played by James Cromwell, but only through the use of uncredited archive footage from Star Trek: First Contact.
