Zeta Alpha II is the second planet in the Zeta Alpha system, the site of one of the most remote colonies in Federation space. In 2366, the USS Lalo departed this planet at 1900 hours on a freight run. However, the ship was destroyed by a Borg cube a short time later. (TNG: "The Best of Both Worlds, Part I")
